Using the "Adding a new address via the API" trigger

Désolé, mais cet article d’aide n’est actuellement pas disponible en français. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez consulter une traduction automatique effectuée par Google.

Cet article d'aide concerne une ancienne version de Direct Mail.

You can trigger an autoresponder when a new address is added via the API. For example, if you have an online shopping cart that adds new customers to your mailing list at checkout (via the API), you could use this trigger to send them follow-up emails, promotional offers, etc.

This trigger can be especially powerful when paired with our Zapier or PieSync integrations. Zapier connects over 2,000 websites and apps to Direct Mail, allowing you to create automated workflows. PieSync enables intelligent two-way sync between Direct Mail and other cloud-based contact management services you use. Addresses added to Direct Mail via Zapier or PieSync will cause this trigger to fire.

If you use the API trigger, you will need to select which address groups Direct Mail should monitor for new addresses added via the API.
